I was brought up near Glasgow where I studied dentistry. For almost forty years I worked  in my Wimbledon practice. My husband, a fellow Scot and doctor, is from the Isle of Islay. While raising three sporty boys we spent a lot of time on the touchline or playing golf.

On my retirement I wanted to do something different. I've always enjoyed history and telling stories. Studying to become a City of London Green Badge tour guide was the challenge I needed and relished.

I love the City - a seamless blend of the ancient and the modern, with all its spectacular buildings and artwork.

I also enjoy meeting new people and sharing with them tales of our amazing Square Mile.
